H.E.A.R.T. Network
The Heart Network is a committee whose sole purpose is to meet the needs of the congregation.
Their goals are stated in the acronym HEART.
HAPPY & HEALTHY CONGREGATION
Provide spiritual support to create and sustain a happy and healthy congregation that is centered
in the principles of Unity and God.
EMOTIONAL SUPPORT
Team members check the Heart Network hot-line at least once every 24 hours. They are
available to help out in whatever situation a congregation member might encounter; whether a
loved one or friend has been lost or a life crisis has occurred. The team will send sympathy
cards and cards to bring cheer.
ASSISTANCE
Team members provide financial help if a congregation member wishes to attend a class but
doesn't have the money to do so.
REFERRAL
If the team cannot provide the needed support or assistance, they have many referral options to
help congregation members find the help they need.
THANKS
This was the original goal of the Heart Network team--to provide thanks and gratitude to the many
people in Unity who are so much appreciated. We don't want to take the hard workers for
granted. We want to stop and show our appreciation for the many things big and small that
others in the community do.
