September 11 Workshop Information!
Three minister candidates have been invited to Indianapolis to
give a Sunday lesson, a Saturday workshop and tour
Indianapolis.  We will announce talk and workshop titles when
they are available.  Biographies can be viewed by clicking on
the photographs.
Bob Uhlar (pronounced All-er) will teach a workshop
on Saturday, September 11 and speak at the Sunday
Service on September 12. He is an ordained Unity
Minister with a background in broadcasting, public
speaking, writing as well as the ministry.  His wife Carla
Golden is also a Unity Minister.  Learn more at www.

They will teach a workshop titled
"Understanding That  Wacky Stuff in the
Bible!" on September 11.
12:30 to 2:30 pm preceded by a pitch-in lunch
starting at 11:30.  Spend two hours with Bob and
Carla, as they decipher the symbolism of various Bible
passages. We will learn how these ancient stories can
teach us how to handle problems we face in 2010.   

Cindy Bruce will teach a workshop on Saturday,
September 25 and speak at the Sunday Service on
September 26. She is an ordained Unity Minister.  Cindy's

Richard Brendan who has been a Guest
Speaker her many times in the past few years, has
become a candidate for our minister position.
Although he is not ordained by Unity, he is an
ordained minister from another denomination and
will take steps to become field licensed as a Unity
minister.  Richard will teach a workshop on
Saturday, October 9 and speak at the Sunday

Mike Wright will teach a new, six-week
class about Unity's 12 Powers starting
Monday, September 13
from 6:30 to 8:00 pm
2010 is Unity’s Year of the 12 Powers.
Unity has provided many resources and
publications that were not previously
available so this class will provide a
fresh slant on the same 12 Powers that
Charles Fillmore developed over a 100
years ago. A sign-up sheet is in the
Friendship Room or you can sign-up for
the class at our website www.unityofindy.
com/classes. The class text will be
announced soon.
Two texts and a Workbook are
recommended for the class.  Charles
Roth’s A Twelve Powers Meditation,
PowerUp and a Workbook.  If all three
are purchased at the same time the cost
is $30.  Separately, they would retail for
$39.98. Books and the workbook can also
be purchased separately.

This meeting focuses on
relationships.  Part of the
class will be an audio tape from Marianne
Williamson.  This week will also be the begin-
ning of a 21-part series of meditations.  Each
meeting will include a different type of medi-
tation.  There will also be discussions about
the benefits of meditation--physical, mental,
emotional and spiritual benefits--that have
been proven by science.
