The September 2011 Spa Day was an enjoyable
success for all who participated. This one proves to be
equally if not more fun! There will be food, live jazz,
manicures, facials, makeovers, before and after photos
(first photo is free; $5.00 for additional photos), massage
therapy and door prizes. A valentine basket will be
raffled. Raffle tickets are $5.00. Again, there will be
booths with cosmetics, candles, jewelry, etc. Tickets
are on sale after the service.

FILM SHOWING OF “I AM—The Shift is
About to Hit the Fan”—After the Service
This film is written and directed by Tom Shadyac who
also directed “Bruce Almighty”, ”Ace Ventura: Pet
Detective”, and “The Nutty Professor.” The Director asks
some of today’s significant minds (Desmond Tutu and
Noam Chomsky to name two) “What’s wrong with our
world, and what can we do about it?” After he
experienced a serious accident and wasn't sure if he
would live, he began a journey that included selling a
17,000 sq ft mansion and private jets, to live a
simpler, more meaningful life. This film is part of that
journey.

ComedySportz has chosen Unity to participate in their
yearly Laff-a-thon Fundraising event. During the 12-hour
event, one hour increments are given to various
charities and non-profit organizations. All monies raised
from 3:00 to 4:00 pm on Saturday afternoon will be given
to Unity. Have a lot of fun and raise money for the Church.

Play, Make Their Day, Be There, Choose Your Attitude,
Commit, Be It, and Coach it. These principles are applic-
able to both our personal and professional lives.

SANCTUARY PREPARATION
TEAM
We are looking for volunteers who
would like to make sure that the
Sanctuary looks tidy and attractive
for the Service on Sunday. This
position involves making sure that
the slots on the backs of the chairs
are fully stocked and all items are
in good condition. This also involves
holding the Sanctuary as a sacred
space with prayer. If you are
interested in helping out in this way,
contact Rev. Carla.
REIKI
Are you a Reiki master or
practitioner? Would you be willing to
volunteer once a month to do
mini-treatments for a half-hour following
the Sunday service? If so, please
