Memorial Gleaners Food Drive
Now Through Sunday, February 14
Gleaners collects non-perishable food items to
distribute to our neighbors who can use a helping
hand.  The Outreach Committee, headed by Ted
Watson and Kevin Reed, is sponsoring the food
collection here.  
Food can be placed in a marked box in the
Fellowship Room.

Wednesday, January 6
New Women's Group--The Divine Goddess
Within Circle-- Starts Tonight!
Colleen Lauter will lead this group that will meet
twice monthly on the first and third Wednesday of
each month.  Colleen has been a student of
metaphysics for 25-30 years, has studied Kabbalah
and A Course in Miracles and is a Reiki master.  
The mission of the group is to support women in
connecting to Source/God and to each other, and
to bring feminine energy to our world.
At each meeting there will be an opening prayer, a
gratitude circle, a topic of discussion, a healing
circle where those present can speak about
problems and issues in confidence with the others
present.  Each meeting will close with a guided
meditation and a prayer.

Non-Violence begins on
Saturday, January 30 and
concludes on Sunday, April 4.

A Season for Nonviolence is a national
64-day educational, media and
grassroots campaign dedicated to
demonstrating that nonviolence is a
powerful way to heal, transform, and
empower our lives and our communities.
Inspired by the 50th and 30th memorial
anniversaries of Mahatma Gandi and Dr.
Martin Luther King, Jr., this international
event honors their vision for an
empowered, nonviolent world.

Again this year we will distribute information
on the Daily Commitments, Daily Reflections
& Actions, Short Daily Practice and Weekly
Practice suggestions for each week of the
year.
